Dr. Carol Calabrese
Dr. Carol Calabrese has been in practice in Sussex County since 1988. Her undergraduate degree was awarded by Georgetown University College of Arts and Science. She received her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. Her residency was at The New York Presbyterian Hospital- Cornell Campus. Dr. Calabrese is Board Certified in Pediatrics, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is on staff at Newton Medical Center. She was the former Chief of Pediatrics at Newton Medical Center.
Dr. Inna Meskin
Dr. Inna Meskin joined Skylands Pediatrics in January, 1998. She is a graduate of the Moscow Medical School, Russia. Her internship was completed at the Maimonides Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY, and her residency was completed at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Meskin speaks fluent Russian. Dr. Meskin is on staff at Newton Medical Center and St. Clares in Denville, NJ.
Dr. Alexis Capozzoli
Dr. Alexis Capozzoli completed her pediatric residency at Morristown Medical Center. She received her undergraduate degree from American University, in Washington, D.C., which included the study of Medical Ethics in Copenhagen, Denmark. Dr. Capozzoli's medical degree was obtained from St. Georges Medical School in Grenada. Dr. Capozzoli holds a certification in Global Heath and has participated in several medical missions to Haiti providing care to children and adults alike. She was awarded the 2013 BBN Foundation Award for Compassionate Communication in Healthcare. Areas of professional interest include medical care of children with developmental delays and disabilities. Dr. Capozzoli is on staff at Newton Medical Center and Morristown Medical Center.
Dr. Denise Novaes
Renee Thomas, APN
Renee Thomas, Advanced Practice Nurse, is a board certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She obtained her bachelor’s Degree as well as her master’s Degree in Nursing from Seton Hall University. For over 25 years, Renee has dedicated her service to providing patients with comprehensive holistic care by focusing on health maintenance, and patient education. She was a teacher at Felician College and Seton Hall University for their undergraduate nursing and graduate nursing programs. Currently, she acts as a preceptor to Rutgers and Seton Hall Nursing students. Renee is a married, working-mother of 3 grown children, and she resides locally in Newton, NJ. Renee is accepting new patients in the Sparta office.
